Fiere rinviate, consumi in calo: le paure legate al Coronavirus stanno influenzando anche il settore del vino. Ecco gli ultimi aggiornamenti
Negli ultimi giorni, grande attenzione, a livello italiano ma anche internazionale, viene data agli eventi inerenti la diffusione del Coronavirus. Una situazione che, inevitabilmente, si sta ripercuotendo anche sul mondo del vino, dell’export e del mercato interno.
Coronavirus e vino: quali i rischi per il mercato del vino e non solo
Fiere cancellate e una paura crescente di una possibile crisi finanziaria. È quanto sta succedendo in Italia, in merito alla situazione Coronavirus.
Secondo il Fondo monetario internazionale, rispetto alla previsione di crescita del 3,3% per il 2020, si potrebbe ipotizzare una flessione tra lo 0,1 e lo 0,2%. La Banca d’Italia, dal canto suo, stima un meno 0,2% sul Pil. Una flessione che non lascia immune il mondo agricolo.
Anche il comparto della distribuzione teme ripercussioni. Operatori del settore, infatti, lamentano un calo dei consumi e delle vendite che interessano il vino.
Di altra natura sono invece i timori di Teresa Bellanova, ministra per le Politiche Agricole, che paventa la possibilità di speculazioni sull’agroalimentare italiano. Dal Mipaaf fanno sapere, infatti, che alcune catene della grande distribuzione europea stanno chiedendo garanzie sulla sicurezza degli alimenti provenienti dall’Italia. Un blocco delle esportazioni ritenuto non legittimo e non tollerabile, visto che non sussisterebbero rischi di trasmissione del virus attraverso alimenti e imballaggi.
I protagonisti del settore richiedono l’intervento di una cabina interministeriale, che tenga conto delle necessità delle imprese.
Quali le novità in tema di manifestazioni
Nel frattempo, sono molte le manifestazioni rinviate o completamente cancellate. Gambero Rosso ha sospeso le date del Tre Bicchieri a Hong Kong.
Il ProWein, dopo una prima conferma subirà invece un ritardo. Previsto inizialmente per il 15-17 marzo 2020 a Düsseldorf, è stato rimandato a data da destinarsi. Confermato, fino adesso, il Vinitaly.
Drengot avrebbe dovuto presenziare a entrambe le manifestazioni.
Il rinvio della ProWein 2020 è un durissimo colpo al settore. Tuttavia, c’è chi esprime fiducia. Come avviene per la stagionalità delle influenze, c’è la speranza che anche questa crisi sia passeggera e non strutturale. Una situazione protratta per uno o due mesi, non può mettere in ginocchio un settore come quello del vino.
