L’Italia è il primo Paese al mondo per qualità e quantità di vitigni autoctoni. Una varietà pedoclimatica capace di attirare l’interesse di consumatori nazionali e internazionali.
Si tratta di una caratteristica unica capace di dare forza e riscattare il territorio di provenienza di ogni specie.
Vitigni autoctoni: sempre più amati dai consumatori
Oggi, i gusti in termini di vino sono radicalmente cambiati. I consumatori sono più attenti: cercano e scelgono vini naturali e prodotti di nicchia.
Sul web, la ricerca mensile dei vini tipici dell’Italia rari risulta un trend nettamente in crescita. I winelovers stanno infatti spostando la loro attenzione sulla diversità, sui metodi di vinificazione antichi, oggi quasi perduti, e sulle varietà indigene a più alto valore.

Le ricchezze del territorio campano
I vitigni autoctoni sono la fotografia di un territorio ricco e variegato. Lo stesso ambito territoriale può dar vita a specie molto diverse tra di loro, capaci di regalare emozioni molto diverse.
La Campania, ad esempio, è uno dei territori più importanti in termini di quantità e varietà di vitigni storicamente coltivati. Basti pensare che oggi, nonostante parte del materiale genetico sia stato perduto nei secoli, la Campania può contare su un numero di vitigni autoctoni superiori a quello della Francia.
Si tratta di vini dal carattere unico, non replicabili e con metodi di coltivazione molto particolare, capaci di suscitare uno spiccato interesse negli operatori di settore, tra gli esperti e gli appassionati.
Basti pensare all’Asprinio di Aversa e alle Aberate aversane, ad esempio.
Vitigni autoctoni e il potere di riscattare l’Italia
La tipicità dei vitigni autoctoni rende unico e identificabile un vino. Una caratteristica molto significativa per il settore, perché rende il prodotto insostituibile e, quindi, capace di reggere la concorrenza dei prodotti esteri. L’autoctono consente all’Italia di potenziare il mercato del vino in termini di quantità e qualità, sfruttando la crescente curiosità del pubblico nei confronti di questi prodotti.
Negli ultimi 10 anni, il BelPaese ha guadagnato tantissimo in termini di vitigni autoctoni. Molto è stato fatto per far uscire dall’anonimato alcune delle specie più interessanti e tanto ancora è stato fatto per il recupero di particolari tecniche di vinificazione.
Drengot si batte quotidianamente affinché il metodo di coltivazione dell’alberata aversana, di origine etrusca, rimanga vivo nel territorio campano, regalando quel vino tanto decantato da papi e reali che oggi solo poche cantine hanno la possibilità di produrre.
